Anyone able to get HDR working properly on Red Dead Redemption 2 and PC?

I've been playing RDR2 on my PC for a while now and no matter what I practise I just can't seem to go HDR working correct. Most of the time with HDR on the game volition become right to a black screen after the title page and I'll have to force close it. When I do go information technology working information technology's all done out, the colors are all incorrect. This is in Vulcan and full screen style.

Anyone know how to get itworking?

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't RDR2's HDR implementation kind of poor and it's better to only exit it off?

RDR on consoles was improved, not perfect but worth turning on, not sure about PC

Information technology doesn't blackness screen for me but I can't get a decent result from it so I'm non sure I'd allow it bother you. Unless I'k doing something wrong I tin can barely see what's happening in a lot of inddors locations and so I've simply left it off.

Full general consensus seems to be that irs not worth information technology. The panel hdr was improved but not dramatically so. I take hdr on my serial x turned on, off on my series s, and there are times swear the non hdr looks better.

I played through information technology on my One X and it definitely looked better off.

And I don't mean in a small way, it actually fabricated the game look drastically better.

No clue if information technology got fixed though OP; I asked the same in a contempo thread.

At that place'due south a bug with HDR and the PC- I appreciate everyone with panel versions responding but the PC version of HDR (gaming HDR mode, not cinematic) looks good when it works. Unfortunately most of the time it doesn't- it's all washed out.

I've been modding and messing with the game files and I found that the game has all-encompassing HDR settings and besides different LUT files for HDR. I oasis't tested irresolute anything yet though. Not sure what to change.
